Growing up in the culturally vibrant city of Guayaquil, Ecuador, I was privileged to be surrounded by art, music, theater, literature and poetry from a very young age. This background engendered in me a lifelong passion for experiencing and creating art. Today I am a freelance graphic designer in Charlotte,NC.
I have advanced skills in CS Suite and over 10 years of experience as a graphic designer in both Ecuador and North Carolina. Working in the newspaper industry taught me the practice of successfully producing under the pressure of deadlines. I have experience in marketing ranging from initial concept to final application. As an example, at Ogilvy & Mather I innovated design and collateral pieces for clients such as IBM, Huggies, Kotex and Bank of Guayaquil.
Currently I work freelance for local clients such as Centralina Council of Governments, Carolinas Care Partnership, the Latin American Women’s Association and Nueva Vida Magazine, among others. My freelance work extends from small businesses to large corporations and non-profit organizations. I’ve worked with clients developing websites, logos, brochures, posters, invitations, etc.
